About these terms

These Terms govern your use of the Govscape platform operated by Govscape Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Access is granted under a separate written agreement between Govscape and the organisation that has engaged us. By accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Govscape provides an AI-assisted governance platform that analyses an organisation's documents, controls and evidence to produce quantified governance scores and recommendations. It is a decision-support tool and does not constitute legal, financial or regulatory advice. Final decisions remain with your organisation and its advisers.

Accounts and access

Access is provisioned by your organisation's administrator. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account. Notify hello@govscape.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. Govscape may suspend access if these Terms are breached or the law requires it.

Acceptable use

You must not circumvent authentication or access controls, upload unlawful content, process personal data without authority, reverse-engineer or copy the platform, or disrupt other users or infrastructure.

Data ownership

Documents, evidence and governance data you upload remain your organisation's property. We process them only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The platform, scoring methodology and software are owned by Govscape Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant only the right to use the platform as described.

Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided as is. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that a score or recommendation is complete for your regulatory context. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid by your organisation under the applicable service agreement in the three months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive losses.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms. Active users will be notified of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions can be sent to hello@govscape.app.
